The Tribune Saxophone Octet was formed at the 12th World Saxophone Congress in Montreal, Canada in 2000. The performers are from the Northern Saxophone Quartet and the Adelphi Saxophone Quartet.

This exciting new ensemble introduces music by Vivaldi, Gabrieli and Monteverdi, as well as scores by contemporary composers such as William Sweeney, Jonas Knutsson and Gavin Whitlock.

The range of sound is from the splendour of antiphonal music as heard in seventeenth century Venice, to the excitement of twenty-first century Celtic and funk sounds.

The ensemble made their debut appearance at the British Saxophone Congress in London, 2000 and are already gaining critical acclaim.
